Momos are dumplings native to Nepal, filled with either ground chicken or ground buffalo meat and for the vegetarians, well vegetables. This photo series is my time spent with my friends’ family, cooking, eating and being a part of their family. Imagine a beautifully efficient conveyor belt, but with gossip and laughs. There is prep going on, the steamer is cooking and everyone has a mouth full of momos, all at the same time. You keep making them, steaming them and eating them. Its the togetherness, the love, the laughs and heavenly tasting food that makes this a meal I will take over any Michelin star restaurant.
